Becoming more persuasive and influential by having a better understanding of myself and the impact I make on other people in order to consciously select the appropriate behaviour. This programme is designed for managers-leaders of all levels who want to increase their awareness and use of their personal power in the everyday business environment.

- Attend the three day workshop to build understanding of techniques, develop skills and further develop the strategy to apply to own case.

- Intake one – Phase 1 starts on 2 May 2010 leading to Phase 2 Three Day Workshop on 21 to 23 June, which will be located in Brussels, Belgium.
- Intake two - Phase 1 starts on 1 August 2010 leading to Phase 2 Three Day Workshop on 27 to 29 September, which will be located in Brussels, Belgium.

Influencing Power - Persuasion Techniques

How to influence people - becoming more persuasive and building influence through developing a better awareness and application of own influencing style and techniques for persuading others.

- View the two program videos on the PPI Network Website as a first step in increasing awareness and learning – A Model of Influencing and Communications and Listening
- Identify and document personal learning objectives for the program and a personal application case
Phase 2
- Attend the two day workshop to build understanding of techniques, develop skills and further develop the strategy to apply to own case
Phase 3
- Execute own case
- Two telephone coaching meetings in the following 3 months or on a different schedule if agreed with the PPI Network Coach
Program Dates
- Intake one – Phase 1 starts on 1 February 2010 leading to Phase 2 Two Day Workshop on 18 & 19 March, located in Mechelen, Belgium, and to completion of Phase 3 by end June 2010.
- Intake two - Phase 1 starts on 1 July 2010 leading to Phase 2 Two Day Workshop on 7 & 8 September, located in Mechelen, Belgium, and to completion of Phase 3 by end December 2010.

Each participant will receive a copy of the book “Make Your Mark” by Sue Craig an important source of insights and tools on influencing and cross organisational influencing.

Virtual Team Working - Building an Effective Team

Delivering quality results through leading or working in virtual or remote teams with colleagues, customers or suppliers. You will learn about building an effective team and effective team communication.
Benefits
Each participant will:
- Develop your understanding and skill in remote team working through a real experience in a new remote team with the opportunity to have open conversations about the experience.
- Have a key tool for enabling diagnosing and addressing issues preventing the remote team from performing fully.
- Complete an analysis of the effectiveness of the remote team which you currently lead or participate in and develop an action plan for making it more effective.
- Have a tool box for increasing the effectiveness of remote teams.
Program Process
Phase 1
- A web seminar to introduce the learning experience and provide the context for the program.
- View the program video on the PPI Network Website as a first step in increasing awareness and learning – ORPI. Apply the ORPI analysis to their own team.
- Participate in two sub group remote team working tasks with a de-brief with a coach after completion of the first task. De-brief of the second task outcome will be in the Phase 2 workshop.
- Identify and document personal learning objectives for the programs and a personal application case.
Phase 2
- Attend the two day workshop to build understanding of techniques, develop skills and further develop the strategy to apply to own case.
- Review the lessons from the phase 1 team working and the application of the ORPI instrument to own team.
Phase 3
- Execute own case with support from sub group.
- A webinar to present application successes and conclude the learning experience.

- Intake one – Phase 1 web meeting on 10 May 2010 leading to Phase 2 Two Day Workshop on 29 & 30 June, located in Brussels, Belgium, and to completion of Phase 3 by end September 2010 with the Phase 3 web meeting on 30 September 2010.
- Intake two – Phase 1 web meeting on 1 September 2010 leading to Phase 2 Two Day Workshop on 26 & 27 October, located in Seville, Spain, and to completion of Phase 3 by end January 2011 with the Phase 3 web meeting on 31 January 2011.
